Sketchup Progress Update 03/27/18
I've made a whole bunch of progress in my Sketchup Model. There is now a bridge, station, a gift shop, a food stand, restrooms, on-ride photo booth, two elevators, and even a portion of the coaster's track!
I've continued work on my model in Sketchup. I wanted to highlight the post-apocalyptic desert aesthetic while keeping the architecture well designed.
There are now handrails for all of the queue line segments & shade sails to keep riders out of the sunlight during the exterior queue. The queue also has televisions to explain the ride's story.
The station is open on the sides and at the ends for sunlight illumination; mood lighting adds atmosphere.
The layout of the entire area has remained just about the same
Finally, I've done quite a bit of work on the actual coaster train itself. I'm going to continue adding texture to the cars to make them appear weathered and not as clean as they currently look.
